LRC1128 - Shoulder Taped S/S Crewneck Tee - Classic Ivory

The Loop & Weft LRC1128 Shoulder Taped S/S Crewneck Tee is built around a loopwheel jersey from Wakayama produced on one of roughly 200 original old-style machines still operational anywhere in the world, each running at approximately one-twentieth the speed of modern knitting equipment. The craftsmen operating these machines require over 20 years of accumulated experience, and the slow, tensionless process preserves the inherent softness of the cotton yarn in a way that modern high-speed knitting physically cannot replicate. The silhouette draws from 1960s classic T-shirt proportions with a clean shape cut for a regular fit that layers comfortably or stands on its own. The shoulder tape reinforcement is drawn directly from military undershirt construction, running along the shoulder line to prevent stretching and give the seam a cleaner, more structured line, but the true centerpiece of this tee is the neckline. The jacquard knit binder collar is knitted one at a time on a specialized machine in an ornate, geometric pattern that is unmistakably Loop & Weft, bringing a level of visual focus and craft to the collar that makes it the first thing you notice and the detail that stays with you. The body is sewn on a Union Special 36200 four-needle flatseam machine throughout.

Fit Notes: Tommy is wearing a size XL in this shirt. As you can see from the charts, this brand fits a little smaller than others. He decided to size up once more in these shirts this round because of their slim nature. We recommend you do the same. Tommy is 5'9," 165lbs, with a 41" chest.
