ONI-200 - 15oz "Low Tension" Jeans - Wide Straight

The last time we had this denim, it was gone in what felt like moments. So this round, we've snagged it in a slightly less wide, but still super roomy silhouette. While ONI is known for its 20oz denim, they produce fabrics in almost all weights and are definitely broadening their horizons this year. This lesser-known 15oz denim is done on the same machines at a super low tension to create an easy-to-wear midweight denim that feels, but isn't, lighter than its industry counterparts. The super-wide fit also keeps it quite airy, making it easier to wear in the hotter months. If you're an old head who loves the texture and character of denim but wants to reach out and explore your fashion horizons...this is the denim for you. It features all the same bells and whistles you've come to expect from the brand as well as green bar tacks and accents this round. They capped the denim with a beautiful pink selvedge ticker.

Fit Notes: Shop owner Tommy is wearing a size 33 in this Wide Straight. As it should, this fits bigger everywhere than the other fits in the lineup. We're talking a higher waist with both a roomy thigh and leg opening. Getting the waist right is the most important part of this fit, so pay close attention to those size charts. We recommend buying your normal size in this one. Tommy is 5'10," 163lbs, with a 32-33" waist.  

*The Wide Straight is a high rise with a wide top block and no taper from thigh to ankle. They're just slightly less wide than the 222*
