R5185 - Super Soft Acorn Beanie - Smoke Purple, Charcoal

Rototo named this one for what it looks like on the head. The ribbed band and rounded crown give it a stubby, capped shape that lands somewhere close to an acorn, and the name stuck. It follows the R5072 Super Soft 2Way Beanie "Stripe" in the lineup and carries the same quality that earned that one its name, which comes down to the yarn. Organic cotton knit at this gauge carries none of the itch wool can bring against the forehead and ears, and it breathes rather than trapping heat, so this is a beanie that works in spring and early fall as readily as it does in the cold. The hand is remarkably soft from the first wear and only gets softer as the cotton relaxes with washing.
