The Indigofera Roan Cardigan is a heavy boiled merino knit cut from the brand's Power Wool, a fabric now on its third run and as compelling as ever. Boiling, also called fulling, sends the knitted merino through hot water and agitation until the fibers lock together and tighten, leaving a dense, smooth cloth that holds real structure and still falls with an easy slouch. That pairing of heft and softness is exactly why Power Wool draws a crowd every time it resurfaces. This round gets dressed up with sew-on metal concho buttons, a nod to the Southwestern silverwork that gave conchos their name, and they flash nicely against the matte wool. Two side pockets keep the whole thing casual, the kind of cardigan that lands on the back of a chair in October and stays in heavy rotation until spring.

Fit Notes: Indigofera runs large by nature. In this Power Wool series, Tommy always seems to fit better in the S/M size.
