The Samurai S552PX-BR Kanoko Brown Jean Jacket brings the same 15oz Texas cotton slub selvedge from the jeans into a jacket silhouette, and the fabric story is just as compelling in this form. The Suren dye gives the brown a colorfast, warm character that softens gradually into richer tones within the same family rather than fading to high contrast, developing a depth and warmth over time that is entirely different from how indigo ages. Fit Notes: This jacket, while traditional in nature, has a bit of a boxier body. Tommy is wearing a size 42, which he considers to be a large. This fits him with plenty of room without feeling sloppy. We would recommend you buy your normal Japanese jacket size in this piece. If you don't know that, go up once. But ultimately, you should compare measurements to your best-fitting jacket. Tommy is 5'9," 165lbs with a 41" chest.
