Samurai's SJ201WC-52BP Workman's Cap in olive takes its cues from vintage American A-3 mechanic caps, and the fabric is where it starts. The 15oz Katana Selvedge Heavy Back Satin has the dense, structured hand you expect from military and workwear cloth, and the olive is going to fade and develop atari in a way that makes every cap end up looking different. The six-panel construction keeps the silhouette clean and true to the original reference, while the outer utility loops, carried over directly from the mechanic cap tradition where they held pencils and small tools, give it a detail that's functional rather than decorative. Custom steel button adjustment at the back rounds it out.
