SSS25-AHBW - "Asagi HBT" Work Shirt - Natural Indigo

The SSS25-AHBW is Samurai’s tribute to traditional Japanese dyeing and vintage American workwear, fused into one incredibly constructed garment. Made from a custom-woven herringbone twill, it’s dyed using a natural indigo rope-dyeing process known as "kasezome," resulting in a pale blue shade historically referred to as Asagi. The threads are dyed before weaving, allowing the textured pattern of the herringbone to hold and reflect the blue tones in subtle gradients. Construction details lean heavily on early 20th-century shirting, with triple-needle stitching, reinforced gussets with chainstitch runoff, and nut buttons for a tactile, natural contrast. Finished with Samurai’s "Union Label" tag at the hem, it’s the type of shirt that only improves with time and wear.

A variance of +/-.5" is within tolerance. 

Fit Notes: Samurai has a trim fit in general, so we always buy the "Western Cut" when it's available. This basically just means that the entire lineup from S-XXXL has extra room. Because of this, Tommy is able to wear large in these pieces. We would recommend you take your normal Samurai size, or one size up from your "typical size" if you're new to the game. Tommy is 5'10," 165lbs with a 40" chest.
