SSS26-ATW - Tropical Weather Long Sleeve Shirt - Olive

The Samurai SSS26-ATW Tropical Weather Shirt is built on a proprietary fabric developed through careful analysis of vintage military textiles originally engineered for tropical climates over half a century ago. Samurai took that research to the Banshu factory, a mill with over a century of history and the only facility in Japan capable of producing and refining this specific construction. The result shares some DNA with a Panama weave in that interlocking threads create a lightweight, somewhat mesh-like structure, but Samurai's version incorporates slubby weft yarns that add texture, improve comfort against the skin, and create physical separation from the body for genuine airflow. The layered dyeing process is the final element that makes the fabric distinct: dye penetrates more heavily into the less-dense sections of the weave and sits lighter on the denser areas, producing a variegated pattern that highlights the woven structure itself. Single chest pocket, tonal urea buttons, and double-needle chainstitch construction with runoff throughout.

Fit Notes: This is the "Western Sizing" version of this shirt, meaning it's built quite a bit larger than the og. We recommend sticking with your true size on this one, which is what Tommy did. He is wearing a large in the pictures. Tommy is 5'9," 165lbs with a 41" chest.
