"Stand Wheel" Pigment Dyed Heavyweight Tee - Cream

$ 78.00

Dubble Works has been on the list for quite some time. It wasn't just that it's loopwheeled goods, either. We were drawn in by the color options and the fluffiness of the fabrics that you could see even online. They have a so-called virtual hand-feel that is very hard to pull off. Dubble Works is a cut & sew brand produced in Japan with the idea of incorporating the functionality and atmosphere of 'American Casual,' believing that "American Casual is a universal idea regardless of generation or style."

We love these tees, especially this time of year. Typically, a heavyweight shirt is stiff and more difficult to wear, but the stand-wheeler machine creates a more loosely woven, softer fabric. They've also taken the additional step of binding the neck instead of sewing it on. This significantly increases the life of the ribs. This season's variations are Pigment Dyed Variations came in the two incredibly easy-to-wear wardrobe staple colors, so we snatched up both. Imagine your favorite black and white t-shirt with quite a bit of age and character. The pigment dye adds a layer of character to these tees that you have to see in person to understand. It looks pretty good in pictures, as well.

Fit Notes: Shop owner Tommy is wearing a size large in this piece. While most Japanese brands fit very small, and their Large fits small on him, this piece is a bit boxier and therefore fits him perfectly. Grab the size that's going to fit you best in the chest, and the rest should fall in line. Tommy is 5'10," 160lbs with a 40" chest.
