The Bryson Flannel - Charcoal, Beige, Turqoise, Rust

The Bryson is one of the longest-running shirts in the Indigofera line, built on the workwear flannels that have always sat at the center of what the brand does. This check is either a reproduction of a fabric that was around when we first started carrying Indigofera or something very close to it, and we have thought about this color combination on and off ever since. Charcoal, beige, rust, and turquoise should not work together as well as they do. The turquoise is the move, a cool note dropped into a warm, earthy palette, and it lifts the whole thing out of standard flannel territory. It disappeared fast the first time around for exactly that reason, and we expect this run to go the same way. The cloth is a heavyweight cotton flannel, brushed so the nap stands up and holds a layer of warm air against the body, and the weight means the shirt works as a light jacket over a tee as readily as it does buttoned up as a shirt. Two chest flap pockets keep it rooted in the work shirt it comes from. It arrives one washed, so the shrinkage is already taken care of.

Fit Notes: Indigofera runs large by nature. Typically, Tommy would wear mediums in their shirts, but he wore a large in the photoshoot. The Bryson runs the smallest of all the shirts in the lineup. Scope those size charts, though. They're the biggest help. Tommy is 5'9", 160 lbs, with a 41" chest, and typically wears a North American medium.
